how it works

Global Institute for Autism and Neurodiversity

We are a dedicated non-profit organization deeply committed to respecting neurodiversity. We firmly believe that inclusion is not a privilege but a fundamental right. We actively support families, educators, healthcare professionals, and communities in their journey to build more equitable, accessible, and human-centered environments for autistic and neurodivergent individuals

Inclusion begins with small acts of understanding.
Thank you for being part of the change.

One cause, thousands of voices, one single purpose: dignity and inclusion for all neurodivergent people.

At the Global Institute for Autism and Neurodiversity (GIAN), we believe that every human being has the right to be understood, respected, and valued for who they are. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the way the world perceives and supports autistic and neurodivergent individuals, especially from childhood.

We were born from the coming together of families, professionals, and rights advocates who share a deep conviction:

"Neurodiversity is not a problem to be solved, but a richness to be recognized."

Our Mission

Global Institute for Autism and Neurodiversity (GIAN)

To eliminate prejudice and discrimination against children with autism and other neurodivergent conditions. To promote a broader understanding of neurodiversity, educate communities, empower families, and defend the human and civil rights guaranteed by law.

Our Vision

Global Institute for Autism and Neurodiversity (GIAN)

A society where every neurodivergent child has real access to opportunities, can fully develop in inclusive environments, and is treated with respect, empathy, and justice.

Our Value:

Everyone belongs, without conditions.

We celebrate differences in how people think, feel, and communicate.

We give a voice to those who have historically been silenced.

We act with integrity, even when it’s uncomfortable.

We believe in the power of information to break cycles of exclusion.

What makes us different?

Interdisciplinary Approach

We combine knowledge from neuroscience, pedagogy, human rights, psychology, art, and community participation. We know there isn’t just one way to view neurodiversity.

Advocacy with a Legal and Affective Basis

We not only support families in the emotional and educational spheres but also actively defend the legal rights of neurodivergent children in health, education, and justice system

Commitment to Cultural Equity

We recognize that neurodiversity is experienced differently in various cultures and social contexts. Our work is inclusive, multilingual, and sensitive to the realities of the communities we serve

OUR TEAM

“We are professionals, mothers, fathers, neurodivergent individuals, and committed allies. What unites us is a cause we feel deeply: that no child should be excluded for being different.
